Cochrane SA focuses on acquiring high-quality, evidence-based information to inform health policy and practice, ultimately improving the quality of life and health status of communities across the nation and beyond its borders.  Based at the South African Medical Research Council, our unit comprises a number of portfolios.  For reviewers, main role of CSA is to provide training and support to Cochrane authors in countries for which it is the reference centre. In addition, Cochrane SA is involved in a number of projects which promotes evidence-based practice and policy.
