The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Coronavirus outbreak as a global pandemic. The WHO is working closing with global experts and governments to track the spread of the virus and to provide advice to countries and individuals to protect health and prevent the spread of this outbreak. Cochrane has released a Special Collection (COVID-19): evidence to relevant to critical care. This Cochrane Library Special Collection pulls together the Cochrane Reviews that most relevant to the management of people hospitalized with severe acute respiratory infections. It features Cochrane Reviews from three Cochrane Groups who are part of the Acute and Emergency Care Network to inform health decision making relevant to current WHO recommendations for the 2019 Coronavirus outbreak.
The collection will be reviewed as the situation changes to ensure ongoing relevance.
